Sawantwadi Lacquer ware
The Craft of Lacquer ware was introduced into Sawantwadi around the end of the 17th and beginning of the 18th Century. And then from 1972 the revival of Sawantwadi's traditional Lacquer painting was taken up by Late H. H. Lt. Col. Raja Bahadur Shivramraje Bhonsle, H. H. Rani Satvashiladevi Bhonsle and Princess Shivapriyadevi Bhonsle.

Workshop and Showroom
In the heritage Palace you will experience the making of the Traditional Ganjifa Cards, Playing Cards, Toys, Indian Traditional Games and Hand Painted Lacquered furniture etc. If you wish to purchase any of the above items, they are available at the showroom in the Palace.

For Domestic Tourists, Rs. 25/- per adult & Rs. 10/- per child below 12 years.
